Friends of Sandhill

Parents of children at Sandhill are automatically members of the friends.  This group is made up of parents, governors and others interested in supporting our school.  The Friends exist to raise money for the school through events which also help to strengthen the school as a community.

The Friends arrange a number of activities each year.  Major events include discos, bun days and raffles.  Money raised is given to the school to help buy items to supplement our resources.  Decisions about how money is spent are made by the Friends in consultation with Mrs Hirst and staff. 

The Friends are an important part of the social life of the school and the money they raise is important in helping to improve the facilities we can offer our children.   We would like to encourage you to take an active part.
