World Book Day
Sandhill pupils had great fun, and so did the staff, dressing
up as book characters for the day.
Junior Wardens
Some of our children from Year five are participating in the Junior Wardens scheme with other children from primary schools in Darfield and Wombwell.
Each week they will be spending time with members of different pillars of the community.
They have worked with representatives from Berneslai Homes, local councillors, Neighbourhood Wardens and will shortly be visiting Manvers fire station and Wombwell police station.
The children will be able to take the skills they have learnt back with them to share with other children.
